Chart by The Mac Observer

The battery test results shows that Mac OS 10.7.4 (Lion) provides better battery life than Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) and Mac OS X 10.8.1 (Mountain Lion).  While Mac OS X 10.8.1 shows improvement for the battery life, it seems that it isn’t enough as it only adds a few minutes of battery life in MacBook.

Apple has been already testing the Mac OS X 10.8.2 with developers, though it doesn’t address any issues concerning the battery, users are still at hope that it will improved the battery life. For now, MacBook users can upgrade their Mac OS X 10.8 to Mac OS X 10.8.1 to provide some quick fix to their battery life woes.
