Using Framaroot App

Framaroot is an app developed by alephzain, a senior member of XDA forums. It is a one-click apk that can install Superuser and su binary on an Android device.

Below is a full list of devices that are successfully been rooted using Framaroot App. Note that the list is not yet complete as there are other Android devices that are not been tested. If your device is not in the list, you may still try using Framaroot to root your Android device.


Framaroot can root almost any Android smartphones or tablets with just a single click.

1. Download Framaroot app on your Android device.

2. Navigate to the downloaded file (.apk file) and install it using a file explorer or directly install it from your Internet browser. If your device warn you about security risk, tap OK and then check Unknown sources to allow installation of apps outside the Google Play Store.

3. Open Framaroot app.

4. Choose Install SuperSU (Install Superuser).

5. It will present you with six exploits. Just choose anyone of them and wait for it to finish. You might also want to check the list of Framaroot supported device above to know which exploit is compatible on your Android phone or tablet.

6. If rooting is successful, you see a message: “Success:-)… Superuser and SU binary installed. You have to reboot your device

7. If rooting failed, you’ll see: “Failed., Try another exploit if available”. Just select another exploit if you see this message.

How to Check If Your Android Device Is Rooted Or Not?

After you have used the steps above to root your device without using a computer, it’s now time to check if it was really successfully rooted or not. To check, use the one of the two apps below:
